Lumarah · Terms
Our agreement, in clear language.
Last updated · May 2026
These terms govern your booking with Lumarah Travel for an Umrah journey. By accepting a quote and making payment, you agree to be bound by them.
This is a working draft. Before going live, have a UK travel-law solicitor review — particularly the Package Travel Regulations 2018 compliance, ATOL/ABTA financial protection language, and force-majeure clauses.
About us
Lumarah Travel is a UK-registered travel concierge specialising in premium Umrah journeys from the United Kingdom. Our registered address, company number, and ATOL/ABTA membership numbers will be added before launch.
Your booking
- You're at least 18 years of age and have authority to make the booking
- The details you give us (passport names, dates, etc.) are accurate
- You'll provide identity documents promptly when requested for visa application
- Final pricing is confirmed in your written quote — not the indicative figure shown during the build-my-Umrah flow
Payment
- A deposit secures your booking and is non-refundable after 60 days of payment, except where required by UK consumer law
- Balance is due 60 days before departure unless otherwise agreed in writing
- Payments are processed through regulated UK payment providers
- All prices are in GBP and inclusive of applicable VAT
The Lumarah Promise
If you cancel more than 60 days before departure, you receive a full refund of any deposit paid, minus a £150 administration fee per pilgrim and any non-refundable third-party costs already incurred on your behalf (typically nil at this stage).
Changes and cancellations
We may need to change details of your journey (hotel substitutions, flight timing) due to availability or external events. We will notify you as soon as possible. Significant changes give you the right to a full refund or an alternative arrangement.
Visa and passport
You're responsible for ensuring your passport is valid for at least 6 months from your travel date. We apply for your Saudi e-visa on your behalf. Visa approval is at the discretion of Saudi authorities and Lumarah cannot guarantee approval.
Liability
Lumarah arranges your journey with care but is not the operator of airlines, hotels, or ground transport. Liability for delays, lost baggage, or in-destination service issues lies with the operator, except as required by the Package Travel Regulations.
Force majeure
Where circumstances beyond our control (natural disaster, government action, war, pandemic, suspension of Hajj/Umrah by Saudi authorities) prevent us from delivering your journey, we will work in good faith to refund or reschedule as appropriate.
Disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. We hope you'll always come to us first if anything is wrong — your concierge or hello@lumarah.co.uk.
